CHADAR TREK

CHADAR TREK The Chader trek is world famous for the frozen Zanskar River in Ladakh during the winters. This is an ancient trek in the Himalayas, for the locals this was the only way for them to commute. The temperature during the trek regularly drops below -20 Celsius.  This is the extremely glamorous trek. It is a 6 day trek in inhospitable conditions. The trek is on the frozen river in Ladakh. Since this trek is open only for two months in the winter season the average temperature of the trek is almost -20 to -25 Celsius. This trek is not that difficult but with good equipment, multiple layers and sensible trekking, the Chadar trek is not very difficult trek.
