CHADAR TREK The Chader trek is world famous for the frozen Zanskar River in Ladakh during the winters. This is an ancient trek in the Himalayas, for the locals this was the only way for them to commute. The temperature during the trek regularly drops below -20 Celsius.  This is the extremely glamorous trek. It is a 6 day trek in inhospitable conditions. The trek is on the frozen river in Ladakh. Since this trek is open only for two months in the winter season the average temperature of the trek is almost -20 to -25 Celsius. This trek is not that difficult but with good equipment, multiple layers and sensible trekking, the Chadar trek is not very difficult trek. It is an unique experience to feel these kind of extreme conditions like the scenery, temperature, atmosphere, the frozen river, sledges, unusual camp sites, caves and the ever changing Chadar. 1. Jaipur:  the pink city celebrates the festival diwali with colorful lights and some traditional musics. Apart from the houses being decked up, the entire markets are decorated with lights. One can also see musicians on the streets of the city. The markets here sell over a thousand types of earthen lamps in many shapes, sizes and colors. 2. It is always abuzz with some kind of celebrations, and Diwali in Varanasi is something that one shouldn’t miss. On the occasion of Diwali, all the Ghats in Varanasi are lit up with thousands of diyas, and the mesmerising view certainly earns Varanasi the title of ‘City of Lights’ in Diwali. Fireworks can be seen and heard all night long and to truly be a part of it, one should rent a hotel near the riverside.
