Hatu Peak, Narkanda, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh

If you ever visited Shimla and wanted to  do something adventures Hattu peak is the idle place to go. It is an easy trek of about 8 Km from the place called Narkanda. and the narkanda town is about 65 Km from state capital Shimla. From Narkanda you have to go 1Km further on the thanedar road until you reach the place where these roads intersect. The moment you start tracking the beauty of the pine forest will strike you. the Pine stand impressively tall and majestic. This climb is gradual steep climb through the pine trees, At the top of the peak there is a small wooden temple called Hatu temple. According to the local belief, the famous hatu temple is a temple of Mandodari wife of "Ravana" People come here ingrate number in first Sunday of Jyeshtha, to pay ritual here. At the top of the peak, you will see the majestic view of the great Himalayas.  It is so much near to the Shimla that after the breakfast you can come to the Hatu peak enjoy your little pic

HAR KI DOON TREK

Har ki Doon  trek  is one of the best treks of the North India.Har Ki Doon valley is a cradle hanging valley in the Garhwal Himalayas. It is surrounded by snow-covered peaks and alpine vegetations. This valley is at an altitude of approx 3500 meters above the mean sea level and it is snow covered during the month of October to March. The Trek start from the village called Taluka and the trek pass through several villages like Gangaad, Osla and Seema. This is done in two stages- Stage 1- From Taluka to Osla Stage 2- From Osla to Har ki doon The total trek is about 25-kilometers. The trek is easy to moderate and good for beginners. It gives you the great Himalayan experience. It takes you from ancient villages where you can watch and understand their culture and lifestyle. Trek Schedule- Day 1 - Reach Dehradun early in the morning around 5AM or 6 AM take the taxi to taluka/ sankri village.  Day 2- At taluka buy eatables for the trek and start trekking
