HAR KI DOON TREK



Har ki Doon  trek  is one of the best treks of the North India.Har Ki Doon valley is a cradle hanging valley in the Garhwal Himalayas. It is surrounded by snow-covered peaks and alpine vegetations. This valley is at an altitude of approx 3500 meters above the mean sea level and it is snow covered during the month of October to March.


The Trek start from the village called Taluka and the trek pass through several villages like Gangaad, Osla and Seema. This is done in two stages-
Stage 1- From Taluka to Osla
Stage 2- From Osla to Har ki doon
The total trek is about 25-kilometers. The trek is easy to moderate and good for beginners.


It gives you the great Himalayan experience. It takes you from ancient villages where you can watch and understand their culture and lifestyle.


Trek Schedule-
Day 1 - Reach Dehradun early in the morning around 5AM or 6 AM take the taxi to taluka/ sankri village. 
Day 2- At taluka buy eatables for the trek and start trekking. camp at Osla or seema village.
Day 3- Start early from Osla or seema village and camp at Har ki doon.
Day 4- Return to taluka/ sankri from har ki doon.
Day 5- Take an early cab from their and you will be in Dehradun by evening.


* Camping tents and sleeping
bags are required.
