Jammu and Kashmir is the state of the country India whose capital is Srinagar. J & k is situated in the north part of India.  It is basically a place in between the beautiful Himalayas. It is says that if there is heaven on the earth it is here! It is here! It is here! The state is divided in to 3 regions all are beautiful places to visit….

1.       Jammu:- Jammu is known as the winter capital of the Jammu and Kashmir And it is very famous for its temples. Jammu is the most visited part of the state.

2.       Kashmir:- The heaven of the earth Kashmir is the beautiful place to visit. Beautiful snow covered mountain, gardens with fresh flower, friendly people, stunning landscape etc are just make you fell in the heaven.

3.       Ladakh:- it is known as the cold desert of the India. Basically place for the people who want some piece and need some rest from the busy life.


Popular Tourist Places

1.       Gulmarg


It is a place known for its natural beauty and is known worldwide as a best tourist destination in India. The place is surrounded by dense forest, beautiful mountains and golf course, the place is ideal destination for the people, who love golf and advanture.

2.       Vaishno Devi


Everyone is familiar with the Vashno Devi temple in Jammu, a religious place of MAA VASHNO DEVI. The place is top of the Trikuta hills at a height of 1700m. The place is 48km away from Jammu.  The place has 30 meter long cave and just 1.5 meter high. At the end of the cave there is a shrines dedicated to the three forms of the mother godess.

3.       Sonmarg


The sonmarg is located at an altitude of 2730 meters from the sea level. The place is ideal to visit to see beautiful landscapes. The way to reach Sonmarg  is from the sindh valley.

4.       Peer baba

This is one of the holy places of the Muslim saints. People from large number come here to pray, on thrusday.

5.       Mubarak Mandi Palace




This palce is built with the touch of three different religions Rajasthan, mughal and Gothic. There is a Dogra Art Museum, which is a treasure house of miniature paintings from various hill schools.

1.       Jammu
. By air- the Jammu airport is the closest airport from the city and well connected from different cities.
. By train- The nearest train junction in Jammu is Jammu Tawai
. by Road- The city is well connected by road.


2.        Kashmir
. By air:- nearest airport is Srinagar airport and it is  14km away from the city and well connected from other cities.
. By rail:- the nearest rail junction from Kashmir is jammu Tawi which is 305 km away.
. By Road:- There is a scheduled bus services from the roadways bus service .


3.       Ladakk
. By Air- the ladakh airport is well connected from other cities and may be the best way to reach Ladakh.

. By Road- The city is connected by road but only is summers because in winters the road get block due to heavy snowfall.
